Pattaya Community Product
Freshly sourced fruits and snacks from Pattaya local community, packaged in premium hand-weaving packaging to be sold as the name of souvenirs from Pattaya Town.
CHALLENGE
The process began with researching items that could be locally sourced from Pattaya community and that should represent locality to attract tourists to buy as souvenirs from Pattaya, Thailand.
SOLUTION
Fresh coconuts, dry squid and dried tropical fruit pastry were selected as raw products, as they were all widely produced in many communities in Pattaya Town. The packaging for selected products were inspired by Thai craftsmanship which would lead to income increasment for Pattaya craftsmen.
RESULT
The project has been suspended due to Pattaya Town's policy change.
